Severe storms continue to fall in Japan.
Authorities in Hiroshima and other areas in the west and east of the country warned on Thursday of the danger of flooding and landslides as a result of the massive rainfall.
Hundreds of thousands of residents were asked to get to safety.
The prefectures of Shimane and Tottori are also badly affected, and have reported damage from landslides and floods in several places.
Almost 500,000 people there had also been asked to escape the dangers.
In Shizuoka Prefecture, record-breaking rains that lasted for days have softened the soil in some areas so much that there is a risk of further landslides there.
In the prefecture, a huge mudslide fell in the coastal town of Atami last weekend, killing at least seven people.
Around two dozen people are still missing there.
Numerous houses were partially completely destroyed.
