Lithuania: Russian jet interrupts Sanchez-Nauseda conference

(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 08 - A joint press conference by Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez which was held this morning in the Siauliai airfield was interrupted due to the presence in the country's airspace of at least one unidentified Russian aircraft.

This was reported by the newspaper El Pais, which cites government sources.

The press conference resumed about 25 minutes later.
