(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 08 - "One of the qualifying elements for contributing to the management of the transformations underway in the international system is the need to interact with all the main global players. From some of them, I think in particular of Russia and China, they clearly separate us differences in values, as well as in positions on individual dossiers. Yet, we are called to develop a frank, pragmatic and constructive dialogue with them ". This was stated by Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio at the Iai conference "Italy, Europe and The World: Revivaland Transition".
This dialogue, Di Maio stressed, must aim at "engaging" Moscow and Beijing "on issues of common interest, keeping us in coordination with our European, Atlantic and G7 partners. I am thinking in particular of climate change, sustainable economic growth, energy transition, solution of regional crises ". (HANDLE).
