The great rapprochement between CNews and Europe 1 will not wait until the start of the school year.
As announced on the site Les Jours, the Canal + group's news channel and the radio, recently taken over by Vincent Bolloré, who became the majority shareholder, will offer the same coverage of the July 14 parade on the Champs-Élysées.
The common antenna will begin this Wednesday at 10 am, with, according to our information, Marc Menant on stage (one of the figures of the program "Face à l'Info" with Christine Kelly and Éric Zemmour on CNews) and other speakers in the field.
This is the first time that such a collaboration has taken place on National Day.
This programming reinforces the links between the two branches which have already been broadcasting “Le Grand Rendez-vous” together on Sunday mornings since 2011 (the channel was then iTélé, which became CNews in 2017).

The reconciliations between Europe 1 and the news channel of the Canal + group were at the heart of the concerns of the employees of the radio station, pushing them to lead a strike that lasted 5 days and ended on June 23. Since then, the willingness to depart has multiplied in its ranks.
