This afternoon, at 3:55 p.m., an Aerolineas Argentinas flight arrived in Ezeiza that brought
550,000 doses
of component 2 of the Sputnik V vaccine against the coronavirus from Russia.
With this batch, the Government will seek to complete the immunization of people who received the first application, but were not yet able to complete their scheme.
Until now, Argentina received
9,375,670 from component 1 and only 2,493,160 from the second.
This was the second of the three scheduled for this Monday, with which
more than 2 million
of three different vaccines
will arrive in the country
.

At dawn, Latam Chile Cargo flight LCO1101 had landed with a shipment of
733,000 doses of AstraZeneca
from Miami, United States.
Now it is scheduled that at 6:40 p.m. flight AR1075, also from the national airline, from Beijing, China, will arrive in Ezeiza with 768,000 Sinopharm vaccines.
The latter is the third of the 10 services with which it is planned to transfer 8 million sera during July.
The fourth will arrive tomorrow.
This is the first tranche of the new contract for 24 million signed with the Chinese laboratory.

With these three shipments, Argentina will have received
30,487,730 vaccines
.
This comes after yesterday the Government announced the agreement for the purchase of 20 million Moderna vaccines, or their equivalent in booster doses.
They would begin to arrive in the first quarter of 2022.
According to the latest official data, until this morning 28,094,744 doses had been distributed, of which
3.2 million serums
that are already in the provinces
remain to be applied

According to the Public Vaccination Monitor, 19,822,638 people received at least one vaccine against covid-19.
This represents 43.2% of the population, out of the 45,808,747 inhabitants estimated by INDEC this year.
Within the total of vaccinated, 5,039,549 people are included who also received the second dose with which the immunization schedule is completed.
That is, 11% of the population.
