About one in five French people was installed in front of Italy-England in the final of Euro 2021, Sunday evening.
With 11.81 million viewers, the broadcaster of the meeting, M6, crushed its competitors on the time slot by capturing 52.8% of the audience of individuals aged 4 and over.
However, this is not the record recorded by M6 during the competition, their best audience having been reached on June 15, during the match between France and Germany, with 15.2 million people behind their television sets.
But M6 was not the only broadcaster of the competition in the clear;
he shared the posters with TF1.
The Bouygues group subsidiary inherited three of the four posters of the France team.
The French were unsurprisingly very interested: they were on average 15.6 million during their team's matches broadcast by TF1, against 7.5 million people for the competition as a whole.
