The British heir to the throne Prince William has condemned racist attacks on English national soccer players after the lost European Championship final.
"I am disgusted by the racist abuse directed at the English players after the game," tweeted Prince William, the grandson of Queen Elizabeth II.
"It is totally unacceptable that the players should endure this hideous behavior," wrote Prince William.
This must "stop and everyone involved should be held accountable."
The statement about the official account of William and Duchess Kate is signed with the letter "W".
William is also the head of the English football association FA.
Football Association distances itself from insults
It is surprising that Prince William's statement was so clear and decisive.

All three are black.
