A table has been convened for Thursday 15 at 14 at the Ministry of Development to address the issue of the dismissal of Gkn workers.
This was announced by Undersecretary Alessandra Todde who chairs the table that will take place via videoconference and provides for the participation of the Ministry of Labor, trade unions, representatives of Gkn Florence, Gkn Automotive and Melrose, as well as the Tuscany Region and the Mayor of Florence.
"Unfortunately it is inevitable that these things happen, but they cannot happen in this way because we plan to 'do the west' not the 'far west'". Thus, the Minister for Economic Development, Giancarlo Giorgetti, on the sidelines of the event 'Mind Project, synergies to innovate in Lombardy', replied to those who asked him about how the government will react to the dismissals announced by Gkn di Campi Bisenzio in Tuscany and of the Gianetti Ruote of Ceriano Laghetto, in Brianza.
