He laughs, he screams, he cheers, he falls into his father's arms and then his mother: Prince George was allowed to watch the final of the European Championship in London on Sunday.
The seven-year-old wears a suit and tie, just like his father, Prince William, does.
But the formal outfit doesn't stop him from letting out his feelings after the 1-0 win for England and being happy like any other football fan.
George's cry of jubilation with his mouth wide open after the first goal for England warms hearts and goes viral on the net.
Prince William comforts son - and the players
"It's so cute, I can hardly stand it," writes a Twitter user.
"He stole the attention," writes another.
Viewers filmed their television screens and commented that the prince had saved the evening, that his reaction was "brilliant", that "this child rules our country".
Prince George was probably the cutest eye-catcher at the final between England and Italy.
His parents allowed their son to be there until 11 p.m., an exception to an exceptional finale.
England last won a European Championship 55 years ago.
In the end, when it was all over for England and coach Gareth Southgate's team lost on penalties, George was disappointed.
He looks seriously at the field, his father carefully puts his hands on his shoulders and comforts him.
Then William goes briefly to the players.
A world has collapsed for them too.
"He thanked you for your commitment," said Southgate and added to the mood: "You can imagine what it looks like there." 25 years ago, in the EM semifinals also at Wembley against Germany, it was Southgate who did the job had missed the decisive penalty.
Prince William also gave consolation to his deeply sad compatriots on Twitter.
“You've all come this far, but sadly that day wasn't ours.
You can all walk with your heads held high, be proud of yourselves, ”he wrote.
