Leviolences erupted from the arrest of former president JacobZuma, sentenced to 15 months in prison by the Constitutional Court for refusing to appear before the anti-corruption inquiry commission investigating alleged fraud under his presidential term. The police also reported that parts of Johannesburg's main streets have been closed due to protests, with dozens of cars set on fire in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal and dozens of arrests.
