The death toll of the bus that fell into a ravine in southeastern Bolivia rose to 34 dead and ten injured, the worst road tragedy the country has seen since the beginning of the year.
The police announced an investigation into the causes of the accident, which took place on a road in the Chuquisaca department.
The bus transported passengers to Sucre, the capital of the department, from the town of Patolo, 50 km away.

Bus accidents are frequent in Bolivia, the main means of transport for long distances.
