Vaccinate, at all costs.

While the Delta variant could well spoil the summer of the French, Emmanuel Macron unsurprisingly announced new measures on Monday evening to try to slow down its progression and put pressure on unvaccinated people.

Because the consequences of the epidemic have repercussions in the hospital, even if the vaccination makes it possible to greatly reduce the number of serious cases.

This Tuesday, 7,076 people were hospitalized for an infection linked to the coronavirus, against 7,137 the day before, according to Public Health France.

They were 7,637 a week ago.

A total of 246 new patients have been hospitalized in the past 24 hours, compared to 267 the day before.

It's better, but the contaminations are well on the rise, since they were 149 new admitted seven days earlier.

Marked increase in the incidence rate among 15/44 year olds

Among these hospitalized patients, 933 are treated in critical care services, 24 less than the day before (957).

They were more than a thousand a week ago (1,032 to be precise).

In addition, 37 patients have been admitted in the last 24 hours against 55 the day before, and 30 a week ago.

A sign of resumption of the epidemic to watch out for.

In the past 24 hours, 22 new deaths linked to Covid-19 are to be deplored (28 yesterday).

Since the start of the epidemic in France, at least 111,375 Covid-19 patients have died.

However, the situation could deteriorate in the coming weeks.

SPF also notes a "marked increase in the incidence rate, particularly among 15/44 year olds".
