All right, we got it, Edie.

And also a ruling, but what's really going on with Ashdod in the food segment, and where do almost a quarter of a million people go when a Thai comes to them?

It's good that you asked, and it's good that we took this question and rolled it into the mouth of Idi Israelovich, because such things require one who knows.

Dining

founding father of Idi fish, one of the few restaurants in the country can move around your home with the title of "institution", complained gracefully does not have time to eat elsewhere.

A little mild pressure helped to bend it and pull out five really worthy recommendations, including a steak that needed a green card, a morning coffee shop and a fricassee that started our car on its own.

One who knows.

Our ex-Tel Aviv recommendation campaign started in Eilat, skipped to Rishon Lezion and now lands in Ashdod, the city that was joined together (to Walt) just a month and a bit ago, but is considered a real bite powerhouse anyway.

The successful port city, which unfortunately makes headlines only during oppressive rounds of fighting, maintains mythological institutions that are not afraid of the word "mythology", both home and modern restaurants, and kitchens that move on a very wide ethnic scale.

Accordingly, a conversation we had with Eyal Shani recently revealed excitement and alertness on his part ahead of his "buffet" entry into the city, and Pintoz ahead of time about the possibilities inherent in the matchmaking between his pita stand and the sea and city fishermen.

Until he arrives, do yourself a favor and go with Edie (in principle, not verbally, give him spice and do not be crazy).

enjoy your meal!

Maurice Sitbon, the owner of the place, has been known and known in Ashdod for decades.

Here you will find the most delicious Tunisian sandwich that accompanies the interesting life stories of Morris, who was an entertainment officer at Club Med in Ashkelon about 40 years ago.

Morris also makes a Tunisian fricassee that tastes like "paradise."

The combination of the fried bun, spicy sauce, tuna, potatoes, vegetables and hard-boiled egg, but most of all the pickled lemon and of course Morris' hand - are what make the wonderful taste.

The place opened with the start of the corona and returned to full activity two months ago.

I come here mostly on Thursdays with the restaurant’s waiters to have a drink and enjoy delicious tapas or a stew of decomposed meat.

It's a place of night people with a lot of young and beautiful and in an Ibiza atmosphere, and also the place where I like to drink my glass before I go to bed.

Just recently at the bar, on Mei Ami beach, a beautiful and invested butcher shop was opened by a group of friends from Ashkelon.

It sells level meat, good and marbled entrecotes, fresh fillets, chicken and many other good things.

There is excellent service here and it looks like a butcher shop abroad.

An authentic Thai restaurant on Mi-Ami Beach run by my father and wife Rongjan, who is a Thai chef.

A lot of young people come here who miss the taste and atmosphere of Thailand.

I come here mostly with my kids and grandchildren.

Meticulous, delicious and not very complicated food that is always fun to return to.

This is where I drink my morning coffee and get Shabbat on Friday at noon.

It is no coincidence he belongs to my son Gal.

The beach restaurant serves everything from everything - breakfasts, Greek salad, herring and ikra, steaks, shrimp and calamari, hamburger and of course - to Barak, Amnon and Dennis.

The restaurant is located near the marina in Ashdod.

I'm not objective of course, but to me it's one of the best places on the city shores.
