After more than 25 years of career in the WarnerMedia group, Iris Knobloch launches a new challenge.
The president of WarnerMedia France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Benelux has stepped down to take the helm of I2PO, the first
European
“
Spac
” dedicated to entertainment and leisure.
The latter was co-founded by Iris Knobloch, Artemis (holding company of the Pinault family) and Combat (holding company of investment banker Matthieu Pigasse).
I2PO will be listed on Euronext Paris, and raise 250 million euros there.
Coming from the United States, Spacs are a new kind of investment vehicle.
These listed companies have only one objective: to make acquisitions in a specific sector.
Targeted companies can thus be listed on the markets much faster and more securely than with a traditional IPO.
