The Heidelberg public prosecutor has indicted a young person who allegedly killed a 13-year-old in Sinsheim with a knife in February.
She accuses the 14-year-old of murder.
There is sufficient suspicion that he killed his victim from behind with several knife stabs, said the authority.
In doing so, he followed a detailed plan of action that had already been drawn up for some time.
The 14-year-old's motive was, among other things, his jealousy of the victim because of a girl.
The alleged perpetrator was known to the police
The youth was arrested shortly after the crime and is on remand.
He was already criminally responsible, said the prosecution.
The 14-year-old is therefore mature enough to see the injustice of his deed and to act on this insight.
The youth had protested his innocence when the arrest warrant was opened.
He was known to the police because he seriously injured a classmate with a knife at the end of 2020.
