Shiga toxin-producing

E. coli bacteria (STEC) have been detected in the affected products.

More precisely, the recall concerns two goods: First, the non-prepackaged organic basil-garlic cheese, which is sold at the tegut service counter, in the sales period from May 19, 2021 to July 7, 2021 inclusive.

And about the prepackaged organic basil-garlic cheese from the fresh food counter - the products concerned have a best-before date from May 29th, 2021 up to and including July 17th, 2021.

The organic basil and garlic cheese was sold by the company “Freie Lebens-Studiengemeinschaft für Sozial Hygiene eV” in eleven markets of the grocery chain “tegut ... gute Lebensmittel GmbH & Co. KG” in Hesse.
