The federal government wants to support the installation of mobile air filters in schools with 200 million euros.

Many cities were also unable to raise the required 20 percent share of the costs at short notice.

In the past few days, calls for expanded funding for mobile systems had become louder.

There is a maximum of 500,000 euros per location.

In addition, there is only money if there is no funding from other bodies such as the state or the EU.
