(ANSA) - TOKYO, 14 JUL - A little more than a week after the start of the Tokyo Olympics, coronavirus infections in the capital exceed one thousand, a level never so high in addition to two months.
In the last 24 hours, the metropolitan government has reported 1,149 infections, this is the highest level since last May 13.
The opening ceremony of the Games is scheduled for 23 July at the National Stadium, located in the city center (ANSA).
