Reinforce the triptych "test, trace, isolate".
This is the objective declared by the government through this new provision.
If you test positive for Covid-19, you will now have to isolate yourself at home for 10 days.
This is what emerges from the draft law currently being studied by the Council of State.
This placement and isolation for 10 days had until now been reserved for people entering French territory.
If a person tests positive, they should therefore receive at the same time as the result of their PCR test an individual prefectural order stipulating the instructions to be followed, specifies RTL.
Controls will be operated
Police officers or gendarmes may be requisitioned to ensure that this isolation is respected.
The project provides for an exit authorization only between 10 am and 12 noon, but with however possible adaptations concerning "the continuation of family life, the special condition of minors" or even concerning persons whose safety would be threatened in the event of an accident. isolation.
In the event of non-compliance with the rules, the government has not yet communicated on the penalties provided for, but they could be the same as those provided for travelers from countries at risk, i.e. a fine of 1000 euros which may increase to 1500 euros in the event of a repeat offense.
The bill must be adopted on July 19 by the Council of Ministers and will then be examined in the week by the Parliament.
