Yes, even Mets they do with style.

Let us save you the heartache, prevent you from making mistakes and neutralize any possibility of misunderstanding - the weather today is clear and crispy cold compared to what is expected of us in the coming days.

These are, well, three words whose proximity reinforces each other, and only rolls them over the damp tongue from a statement.

wave.

Heat.

but it's only tomorrow, because today is celebrating.

And yet symbolic that Bastille Day, or French Independence Day, brings with it a slightly more elegant climate.

One can even - if you are in the business of cruises - seriously imagine some grass, and a picnic basket, and something to drink of course.

Chilled, obviously chilled.

Or in a little more concrete words - get the complete French guide (or almost complete, still a country that knows how to drink) and try to take advantage of it to get through the next few days in an ideal state of accumulation for this summer - completely shaded, and barely clear.

champagne

The bizarre champagne war between Russia and France left us not at all confused - champagne is actually a sparkling wine produced, under strict regulations, in the Champagne region of France.

The first champagne house in France is RUINART, which was established in 1729 and is still considered one of the leading and best champagne houses in the country.

KRUG, known for its quality vineyards and the best grapes in the region, has also established a global name and reputation.

The prestigious branding of the drink is still with us, but as the years go by, the champagne enters more and more private homes and shakes off the image of special events a bit.

The Corona period, which completely shook the world of alcohol and consumerism, of course helped in this trend as well.

"Demand for champagne was higher than usual," confirmed Elad Slobtnik, VP of marketing for the city's wine chain, "and there were certain months when champagne could hardly be obtained."

Rosa

This is a pretty close battle with the competitor from above, but the rosé wines also have something to offer in the field of the most French drink there is.

France is known as a country with an exceptional wine culture, which cultivates entire regions designated for wine production. Provence in the south of France is considered particularly famous, with exceptional rosé wines.

The pink craze is no longer a fleeting trend, not here and certainly not there, and today you can find a wide variety (with a wide price range) in every restaurant and wine shop. "The category has been growing at a tremendous rate for several years," Slobtik explained, "and one of the characteristics of the leap is the consumption of rosé in all seasons, not just summer."

One of the leading wineries in Provence is CHÂTEAU D'ESCLANS, located in an ancient castle in the heart of Provence, and in the center of the Vare plot, where most of the rosé wines are produced in the area. His best-known wine, and one of the most famous in the world, is WHISPERING ANGEL, which arrived in Israel recently.

Unlike many drinks, rosé is generally considered a wine that is suitable for a wide variety of dishes and cuisines, and can be enjoyed alongside almost any dish that comes to mind.

Our recommendation, especially in light of the aforementioned forecast, is to pour a glass alongside a fresh salad and some hard cheeses.

You probably won't need more than that.

cognac

And we will end with the classics: to really feel in France you must taste quality cognac.

In Israel cognac is considered a relatively winter and niche drink, but there almost every family holds a bottle for a time of need, especially in light of the fact that like champagne, it is a drink made exclusively in France, and to be more focused - in an area called the Cognac commune in the Charente region.

One of the leading brands in the country, which is gaining momentum here as well, is HENRI MOUNIER, a cognac with more than 150 years of experience.

Contrary to popular belief, cognac is suitable for all seasons, and depends very much on the form of its serving.

In the summer it is recommended to drink the drink very cold, presumably, because at low temperatures the strong alcohol flavors weaken slightly, leaving room for freshness and the unique taste.

Accordingly, cognac can also be a great base for summer cocktails, and go great with savory snacks, fish and cheeses.
