A prepaid card that allows you to donate 8x1000 to 'Non Profit' organizations chosen by the user: to launch it is Repx, the English fintech with Italian DNA in the management, close to the IPO on the London Stock Exchange after the listing on the Cyprus Stock Exchange of the end of February. Through a proprietary technology developed through one of its subsidiaries, Repx will shortly launch two other types of prepaid cards on the Italian market. Specifically, 8xMille Gift Card, will be the first card to be launched on the market between August and September, in the form of an anonymous and non-rechargeable prepaid card, with a nominal value of 100 euros, which will allow 8x1000 of the amount spent to be allocated to a 'Non profit' authorized and chosen by the cardholder at the time of its activation. The card will be produced and marketed in collaboration with the leading company in the Gift Card sector and distributed through large-scale distribution and e-commerce through 50,000 points of sale. '8xMille Prepaid Card' will instead be available at the beginning of autumn and will be a traditional prepaid card, nominal and rechargeable, which will allow the traditional operations of these payment instruments, combined with a banking management App. This card will also make it possible to donate 8x1000 of the amount spent and paid through this card to the Third Sector association chosen by the user. "Thanks to our technology and this simple and effective idea - explains Francesco De Leo, member of the board of Repx - the user of one of our '8xMille Cards' under the Repx brand will be able, during the registration phase through our dedicated App,choose the 'Non Profit' reality to which it will permanently allocate the 8x1000 of the entire card transaction, or rather of the total amount of its purchases of goods and services. Obviously, for the cardholder, this donation will have no additional cost and it will be Repx to give up a share of its profits on all transactions. "Currently in Italy there are 29 million prepaid cards in circulation, while about 1 Italian on due consciously selects the 'Non Profit' to which to allocate the 8x1000. "We are therefore talking - adds De Leo - of a very important and growing potential market and it is believed that, precisely because the Repx 8x1000 cards not only have all the functions offered by competitors but also comparable and not higher costs, up to offering what competitors do not do,or the possibility of having a percentage of the money spent donated to an association chosen by the consumer for charitable purposes without an additional cost, Repx can conquer, with a prudential estimate, with its 8x1000 cards, a market share of around 5% in the first year of activity. "With the issuance of approximately 600,000 prepaid cards planned in that period, Repx will therefore be able to provide support of over 6 million euros to Italian companies in the 'Non Profit' sector. With the issue of approximately 600,000 prepaid cards planned in that period, Repx will therefore be able to provide support of over 6 million euros to Italian companies in the 'Non Profit' sector. With the issue of approximately 600,000 prepaid cards planned in that period, Repx will therefore be able to provide support of over 6 million euros to Italian companies in the 'Non Profit' sector.
