(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, JUL 15 - The Delta variant runs throughout Europe and increases infections especially in Spain, the Netherlands, Cyprus and Malta, which are tinged with red and dark red on the weekly map of the European Center for Control and Prevention of diseases (Ecdc) on the incidence of Covid. The situation worsened particularly in Spain, which is entirely red with several areas (including Catalonia, Castilla and Leon) indicated in dark red. Infections have also increased in the south of France, which has gone yellow along with Ireland, Belgium and some areas of Sweden, Finland and Denmark. The Italiasi confirms instead all in green.
