Stock market: slightly lower opening in Tokyo (-0.19%)

(ANSA) - TOKYO, JUL 15 - The Tokyo Stock Exchange opens the session with the minus sign, after the mixed closure of the US stock indices and pending data on second quarter GDP in China and on retail sales.

At the opening, the Nikke showed a negative change of 0.19% to 28,554,978, with a loss of 53 points.

On the foreign exchange market, the yen once again strengthened against the dollar at 110 and against the euro at 130.10.
