Damascus-SANA

The Excellence and Creativity Authority announced the conditions and date for the start of accepting applications for affiliation with the National Center for Excellence for the academic year 2021-2022 in the education directorates in the governorates, starting from Sunday 25-7-2021 until Thursday 19-8-2021.

In its announcement, of which SANA received a copy, the commission specified the conditions for applying for Syrian students and the like who obtained a basic education certificate from Syrian schools for the 2021 session, which is that the student’s average in the basic education certificate should not be less than 85 percent after weighting the two subjects of mathematics and science (physics, chemistry and natural sciences). Where the student's mark in these two subjects is multiplied by 2, then the final average is calculated, which must range between 3485 and 4100 degrees, and the student's age should not exceed 16 years on 10/1-2021.

According to the Commission’s announcement, the student submits to the Directorate of Education in any of the governorates of the Syrian Arab Republic an application for affiliation with the Center to participate in the admission tests, which includes full personal and academic data according to the approved form available in the Directorate of Education.

The authority called on those wishing to register in the center to first enter the electronic link on its official page on the social networking site (Facebook) and fill out the attached form, indicating that the names of those accepted to study at the National Center for Excellence will be announced within a week of the end of the exams, knowing that the participating student does not cost any fees. Or expenses for his participation in the tests in all its stages.

The National Center for Distinguished Students was established in 2009 and adopts a different approach by giving the scientific curriculum through e-learning, cooperative and constructivism, and setting up an evaluation station at the end of each scientific session, in addition to its focus on the semi-open curriculum, where the textbook is considered one of the scientific sources for the student to complete it by collecting the rest of the information from the scientific references approved in Center.
