Salmonella can have serious health consequences.
Infested food must therefore be recalled immediately.
As in the case of this product.

, the purchase price will be reimbursed in full even without presenting the corresponding receipt.
However, the recall only applies to a specific batch of the spice with the following best-before dates and corresponding lot numbers:
Item name: "Kania Marjoram rubbed"
Contents: 10g
Best before date / Lot number: 07.2023 |

A01 / A04 / A14 / A15 / B04 / C04

Warning: Salmonella infection can have serious consequences
The recall * of a product for which Salmonella has been detected or at least a serious suspicion of Salmonella infection is not made without reason.
An infection with the bacteria usually results in malaise and diarrhea, in more serious situations vomiting and fever can occur.
Children, the elderly and people with a weakened immune system are particularly at risk.
Consumption is therefore strongly discouraged.
In another case, there was also Salmonella contamination * of several popular spice products.
Since these were sold nationwide in different supermarkets, caution is advised here too.
The only thing that is even more urgent is the recall and the warning of a cheese * in which Shiga toxin-producing E. coli bacteria (STEC) had been detected.
