The cast of Indiana Jones 5 is enriched with a new character, the one who will be played by Antonio Banderas.
The Spanish actor then joins Harrison Ford, who returns in the role of the reckless archaeologist, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renée Wilson.
Direction is entrusted to James Mangold takes over from Steven Spielberg.
This is the first film in the Indiana Jones franchise under the Disney banner.
Filming has already started in London, but little is known about the plot and the role that Banderas will have.
The film is scheduled for release on July 29, 2022.
