(ANSA) - NAPLES, JULY 16 - The actor from Naples, Libero De Rienzo, died at the age of 44, struck down by a heart attack in his home in Rome.
Born in Naples in 1977, he embarked on a career in the show following in the footsteps of his father, Fiore De Rienzo, who was Citto Maselli's assistant director.
Libero had won the David di Donatello in 2002 and in 2006, in the film Fortpàsc by Marco Risi, he played the Italian journalist Giancarlo Siani.
Among his subsequent works, 'I quit when I want' (2014) and in 2019 the film 'A Tor BellaMonaca never rains'.
Although he had lived in Rome since the age of two, Libero De Rienzo was linked to the city of Naples. Married to costume designer Marcella Mosca, he leaves two children aged 6 and 2. After the funeral (whose date has not yet been fixed) the body will be buried in Irpinia, next to the mother. (HANDLE).
