of coronavirus.

Thus, the country reached 101,158 fatalities and 4,737,213 infections since the start of the pandemic.

Of the last notified deaths, 198 resided in the province of Buenos Aires, 44 in Santa Fe, 37 in Córdoba, 22 in Tucumán, 21 in Mendoza, 19 in Entre Ríos, 17 in the City of Buenos Aires, 14 in Salta, 13 in La Rioja, 12 in Chaco;

11 in Santa Cruz and San Luis;

nine in Chubut;

eight in San Juan and Santiago del Estero;

six in Río Negro and Jujuy;

four in Neuquén, two in La Pampa and one in Catamarca, Corrientes and Formosa.

Argentina remains the

eighth country with the most cases of Covid-19

, only surpassed by the United Kingdom (5.3 million), Turkey (5.5), France (5.8), Russia (5.9), Brazil ( 19), India (31) and the United States (34 million).


Regarding deaths, it is ranked 11th in the world ranking,

below the United States (624 thousand), Brazil (539 thousand), India (412 thousand), Mexico (235 thousand), Peru (194 thousand), Russia ( 146 thousand), United Kingdom (128 thousand), Italy (127 thousand), Colombia (114 thousand) and France (111 thousand).
