His film mixes interviews with producers, German musicians, including Klaus Meine, the singer of Scorpions, with filmed archives. From Aretha Franklin to Beyoncé, the spectrum is wide. Probably too much. This documentary lacks a common thread.The narration is intended to be thematic and then chronological, but sometimes suddenly goes back in time. Arrived in the 1980s with Michael Jackson, we go back to the sixties with Bob Dylan.
