More than 200 investigators took action in Hesse this week in a large-scale operation against sexual violence against children and adolescents.
They searched a total of 49 apartments across the country, as announced by the State Criminal Police Office (LKA).
A total of 51 accused between the ages of 16 and 76, including three women, are accused of producing, possessing or distributing so-called child pornography or the sexual abuse of children.
There were no arrests.
According to the LKA, more than 1000 storage media were secured.
According to the current status, the accused were not in contact with one another.
The investigations are still ongoing.
