Whirlpool: 8-hour strike in the whole group on 22 July

(ANSA) - ROME, JULY 16 - "The national secretariats of Fim, Fiome Uilm together with the union coordination of Whirlpool have decided an 8-hour strike for the whole group, with a national demonstration in Rome for Thursday 22 July". Thus the three trade unions in a note. "Whirlpool workers - it reads - will be on strike and in the square in Rome next Thursday against the arrogance of the company that opened the dismissal procedures in spite of the requests of trade unions and the government to use before the 13 weeks of layoffs provided for by the agreement signed by CGIL, CISL, UIL and Confindustria with the government ".
