(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 17 - "I want to tell young artists not to worry about the opinions of others and to follow their hearts: let the world surprise you and find walls to cross": that is an invitation to action and to a necessarily 'militant' belonging which Marina Abramović addressed to the public at the MAXXI in Rome on 16 July, during a conversation with the artistic director of the HouHanru museum.
In a sober dark suit but with some transparency, passionate, ironic and charismatic, the artist went up on the museum's summer stage to talk about herself in front of a plateau composed mostly of young people, as part of a sell-out event organized on the occasion of the exhibition.
