The cluster continues to grow.
From 2 Thursday, to 19 Saturday, the Regional Health Agency (ARS) of Nouvelle-Aquitaine informed this Sunday that a total of 35 people tested positive for Covid-19 after several evenings in a nightclub in Bordeaux (Gironde).
"The situation is closely monitored by the ARS and the prefecture, which can trigger, if necessary, other additional measures," said the ARS in a statement.
According to the ARS, three evenings organized at Hangar FL are potentially responsible for this explosion of cases: those of July 9 and 10, the weekend of the reopening of nightclubs, and that of July 13.
The manager denies any breach
“The contact tracing provided by the Health Insurance continues to identify the chains of transmission,” explains the Regional Health Agency.
Those who tested positive were invited to strict isolation for 10 days.
The ARS says it has contacted the establishment so that it disseminates messages to the participants in these evenings to invite them to be tested, which it still had not done this Sunday on the Facebook page.
With our colleagues from France 3, the organizer said this Sunday that he had not been contacted by “the health authorities” and had discovered the existence of a cluster via the press. Criticized on social networks for the control of health passes, a mandatory step to enter a nightclub, the boss of HFL Productions defended himself on Saturday with South West: “We had a police check in the early evening. They made sure that we had our scans for the QR Code

. Logically, everything was done within the rules. Moreover, out of the 750 people expected, 80 did not come or were turned away because they were not the nails. "
