Levels in Passau rise - police are towing cars as a precaution

In Passau, Bavaria, the water levels in the rivers continue to rise every hour.
As a precaution, the police towed cars from parking lots on the Danube, as a spokeswoman said on Sunday.
Residents have failed to repark their vehicles despite flood warnings.
"If we don't tow them away, they'll swim as far as Austria," said the police spokeswoman.
According to the flood intelligence service, the level of the Danube had risen by almost two meters to 7.80 meters over the course of Saturday.
The water level of the Inn rose in the past twelve hours from 3.30 to 5.40 meters.

in Germany has risen again significantly and is now 156. As the police headquarters in Koblenz announced on early Sunday morning, the death toll in Rhineland-Palatinate increased by a further twelve to 110. At least 670 People were injured.
