What do you think about a vacation in the Galilee?
But in Hatzor HaGlilit?
Two hotels and a hostel will be built in the local council near Rosh Pina, and will have 450 rooms.
The Israel Land Authority (Northern Region) in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and the Hatzor HaGlilit Council have promoted three recently approved plans in the Hatzor HaGlilit area, and have just begun initiating a tender process with the Israel Land Authority.
The approved plans reflect diversity in the tourism complexes and are the result of a collaboration between the Israel Land Authority, the Ministry of Tourism and Hatzor HaGlilit, which decided to develop the tourism infrastructure in the locality in light of its geographical advantages: proximity and accessibility to Highway 90, Mahnayim Airport and the future train station.
This, along with many attractions and tourist facilities located in the Galilee region.

Planning: Attractions in the heart of nature
The first plot approved for marketing covers an area of 18.5 dunams and is intended for the construction of a Class A hotel complex, which includes a conference center in the northwest of Hatzor HaGlilit, overlooking the Mahanayim area, and will include about 200 rooms.
The complex is located on mountainous terrain and provides a natural panoramic view of the Nahal Mahanim Reserve.
The other two plots are for tourism and leisure complexes with about 250 rooms, one for a C-class hotel and the other for a hostel near the Khoni complex, which is an important tourist center in the area, in the heart of a pine grove.

Today, Hatzor HaGlilit offers a number of accommodation options, including hotels, guest houses and B&B complexes.
According to the plan, in the coming years, attractions in the heart of nature will be established in the Greater Hatzor area, religious tourism complexes will be developed and projects in the field of extremes will be promoted.
All these alongside the establishment of the three hotels now approved, which are expected to leverage the tourism industry in the council.

Minister of Tourism Yoel Rezbozov said: "Establishing additional guest rooms is one of my important tasks as Minister of Tourism. This is a long-term solution to the high prices of vacations in Israel. This will increase competition, increase the quality of service to the citizen and make prices more reasonable."
The head of the Hatzor HaGlilit local council, Shimon Suissa, said: "At the same time, we promote tourism ventures and attractions that will finally realize the great tourist potential of Hatzor HaGlilit, create new jobs, strengthen local businesses and promote the opening of more new businesses."
