These new health measures come as the department is experiencing an outbreak of new cases of Covid-19.

In one week, the incidence rate fell from 41.5 / 100,000 inhabitants to 258.8 / 100,000 inhabitants on July 16.

Jonathan Poirier, salesman in Perpignan, sees the return of the mask with a good eye: “People no longer respect anything even in the store. It's a bit boring to repeat, to police, so we have to put back the wearing of the compulsory mask ”, he believes.
