(ANSA) - BERLIN, 19 JUL - The flood victims in Germany have risen to 163.

In Rhineland-Palatinate, the Ahrweiler district's death toll has risen from yesterday and reached 117, a spokesperson for the Oblenz police said today.

In North Rhine-Westphalia the dead are 45, while a victim is counted in Bavaria in the district of Berchtesgaden.

The number of casualties in Rhineland-Palatinate has risen to 749. The visit of the Interior Minister Horst Seehofer to the Euskirchen district is awaited today.
