The #boycottburgerking hashtag has started to flourish on social media.
However, the document calling on all employees of the group to be vaccinated is a fake.
It comes in the form of a memo in which it is stated that "all our employees must have a health pass to be able to work" and that "the only solution to obtain the health pass is, of course, vaccination. ".
The memo adds that employees who do not have a health pass by August 31 will no longer be able to work and will no longer be paid.
The Burger King logo is present at the top left of the paper but the eight spelling errors on the document leave little doubt that it is untrue.
The management will file a complaint
However, many disgruntled Internet users quickly called for a boycott of the fast-food brand.
The group even affirmed its intention to file a complaint "in order to know the origin of this publication and to determine if it was carried out with the aim of harming the company as well as all of its employees".

On the other hand, if the document circulating is a fake, Burger King employees will have to present a health pass from August 30.
Burger King employees and clients will be subject to the same rules as all catering professionals.
However, a simple certificate of recovery dated less than 6 months and more than 11 days is accepted and the employees concerned will therefore not need to be compulsorily vaccinated by the end of August.
This document states that the person has been infected with Covid-19 and that they may therefore have developed antibodies.
