But did you know that this is true even when we are talking about the most basic thing for us - water?



Yes, just like in food and even more than that, we have different types of water and only one of them helps us and our body in a full and correct way, and keeps it vital and fresh.

The reference is of course to mineral water.

What is the difference between mineral water and filtered water?

In Israel, many people tend to drink so-called filtered water, which is based on desalinated water.

This water, as it is called, is filtered from metals and from all the various pollutants that may be present in the water and when we drink it to saturation, we know that the chlorine that is added to the tap water does not pass to us in a glass.

Because the water of the filtration facilities is desalinated water, they come without the important minerals, minerals that our body needs and that it does not produce independently.

Minerals that ... you guessed it - in mineral water.



The minerals in the water are formed in natural processes and are affected by different environmental conditions, with each mineral having a unique structure and properties that characterize it.

Athletes: In

strenuous exercise, we sweat a lot and can lose two gallons of water in just one hour. Obviously, we need to bring them back and studies have shown that consuming mineral water helps increase performance capabilities during activity and rejuvenates the body faster at its end.



Pregnant and lactating women:

During pregnancy, the volume of water increases by seven liters and drinking plenty of mineral water helps prevent edema, constipation, high blood pressure and urinary tract infections.
