(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, JULY 20 - "We pay tribute to the victims of the devastating floods that have destroyed so many lives across Europe. Today, on the day of national mourning, the flags of Belgium and the EU outside the European Parliament will be at half mast".

So via Twitter the president of the European Parliament, David Sassoli, on the occasion of the day of national mourning proclaimed in Belgium.
