The pilot of a small airplane made an emergency landing on an expressway in the US state of New Jersey.
No one was injured in the incident on Monday afternoon (local time), as US media reported unanimously, citing the police.
The 18-year-old pilot had reported engine problems and tried to fly to the nearby airport in Ocean City.
Eventually he landed on a bridge that connects Ocean City and Somers Point.
There he had discovered a gap in the traffic.
"It was pretty scary," said eyewitness Daniel Lepone to the broadcaster 6 ABC.
"I heard a loud bang and the propeller and it was really loud and I could see it just slowly sink down."
According to the report, the pilot Landon Lucas was supposed to fly an advertising banner through the air.
The aircraft was towed about three and a half hours after the emergency landing.
The investigation into the case continued.
