A pregnant young woman was violently killed in Austria.
According to information on Wednesday, the police arrested the 19-year-old friend, the alleged father of the child.
The man from Graz admitted to having quarreled with his girlfriend, but denied having inflicted the fatal injuries, the authority reported.
The woman had not shown up at work.
When checking her home, she was found lifeless in bed.
The situation in the apartment as well as features on the corpse gave indications of third-party negligence, it said.
