(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 21 - From north to south of Italy, from large cities like Rome and Milan to smaller capitals like Cuneo and Vercelli, 271 projects - many signed by great Italian architecture studios - have been admitted in the ranking for the National program of the quality of living (PinQua) of the Ministry for Infrastructures and Sustainable Mobility. The proposals will be financed with 3.2 billion: initially planned funds (400 million), explains Mims, will add 2.8 billion from the complementary fund to the NRP.

The list includes those for the redevelopment of the historic center of Sassari (repopulation of the historic center through the recovery of abandoned or degraded buildings to be used as residence) and the Municipality of Messina (rehabilitation of the slum areas still existing following the 1908 earthquake, through the demolition and reconstruction of dwellings and services), innovative projects concerning Teramo (urban regeneration with recovery, demolition and reconstruction of public residences and enhancement of public spaces) and social housing proposals in Bari and Piacenza.

The proposal for the management of the River Port of Rome focuses on aspects of social inclusion, which envisages the requalification of a restricted property and the reallocation of 53 family units from 21 different countries.

The Municipality of Vercelli, explains Mims, proposes urban management interventions in the historic center, on the riverside and the agricultural territory, that of the Municipality of Cuneo foresees the increase of accessibility and the regeneration of the urban fabric also through the construction of residences for young people, the elderly and families fragile. The projects of the Municipalities of Corigliano Rossano, the Metropolitan City of Bologna and the Municipality of Foggia provide for the redevelopment of neighborhoods, the replacement of illegal and dilapidated buildings with new buildings. The proposal of the Municipality of Milan provides for the strengthening and optimization of the network of proximity services also through the experimentation of new models of social management of housing services.
