If real life had learned anything from Gordon Ramsey's "Kitchenn Nightmares" (or from her local transcription with Assaf Granit), it is likely that Naomi's restaurant in Yehud would not have finished the season.

Neither is the episode.

The Asian restaurant

food that

swelled a little before the Corona with lots of good intentions and very few can implement them, realized after only a few months - a global epidemic or not a global epidemic, things probably stood out very much - that change was needed.

Preferably from the really flexible ones, 180 degree style.

One partner folded, but luckily the owner since remained knowledgeable put the ego aside, admit he needed help, and take the action that usually needs to be done to save something - call your daughter.

Speeches (Photo: Jonathan Ben-Haim)

Elizabeth Singer received this call from her father when she was very far from the restaurant, both physically and mentally.

To her credit it must be said (yes, in such a miraculous process many people have rights) that she has taken on the task, caused a kitchen and business revolution alike, and can sit in front of me now, plus or minus a year since the switch, and speak with a smile.

She brought to Naomi (NAOMI), among others, new and experienced diners who looked at the menu and the whole process with one sentence in mind ("it is better to change the name and start over"), and she also brought herself - a human engine that produces energy for an entire business, on Its employees and customers.

And yes, on weekends she is also a waitress.

The Corona and its challenges nonetheless left something behind.

Require travel.

So what do you eat here?

Naomi's diverse cuisine does not purport to speak fluent Thai and has not gone to the most remote point in Japan to produce miso, but is professional enough to control most of the processes needed to conduct a multilingual Asian dialogue here, rather than needing favors from nearby Tel Aviv.

There is miso soup here of course, and tomorokoshi (dairy corn cream soup, kefir lime, lemon grass and tortilla), tom sea and "glass salad".

There are outstanding gyozas and crispy puri fanny balls, filled with spicy tartare.

There is a modest wing in size but excellent in the capabilities of buns, including a mandatory and very successful decomposed meat version, and there are also Names - a Vietnamese spring roll in a crispy roll configuration, stuffed with chicken-vegetables-glass noodles, which are impeccably fried here and alone require a special ride.

Efficiency, taste, excellence.

What more?

The noodle section offers the immediate suspects (Pad Thai and Pad Si Yu, for example), but also "Bamboo Curry" (coconut milk and cream stew with mushrooms, basil, kfir lime leaves, bamboo, sautéed hot Thai curry and a choice between chicken-sirloin-shrimp- Tofu), flattering cashew chicken in its flavors, butter chicken and sirloin strips.

Apart from these, there is also a sushi menu that would have owned other restaurants on its own, meticulous in relation to the genre and very invested, especially in the fish-rice equation.

In short, and given that such a menu can not be summed up in one line, take it from me - you will not come out of here in a line about a groundbreaking Asian, but when was the last time you wanted to be pioneered when a good Asian came to you?

Skip waiting for the courier.

Speeches (Photo: Jonathan Ben-Haim)

The afternoon I spent in my speech began in a relatively sparse space, and ended when I felt my chair took the place of clients.

The few offices that reopened after the Corona left most of their employees at home, but the quiet street in Yehud was nevertheless filled with vehicles that stopped here in particular.

What started as an efficient delivery option across the region - Naomi's motorcycles go as far as Ramat Gan even - is about to develop soon and give birth to a kosher arm that will employ a dedicated army of motorcyclists.

In the meantime, you can skip the wait and come.

Something tells me Elizabeth will be waiting for you here.
