Based on the conversations they had for their podcast "Renegades - Born in the USA", the former US President Barack Obama and rock musician Bruce Springsteen will publish a book together on October 26th.
Also named »Renegades«, according to the publisher Penguin Random House, the non-fiction book will contain photographs from the authors' private collections and previously unpublished archive material and will be published worldwide.
"Over the years we have found that we share certain views," Obama said in the introduction.

On our way, Bruce and I tried, each in our own way, to understand this country that has given us both so much.
Tried to tell the stories of his people.
Looking for a way to connect our individual search for meaning and truth and community with the greater history of America. "
The podcast was launched on the Spotify streaming platform in February 2021 and consists of eight episodes.
