(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, JULY 22 - The president of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen announced that she had received a "phone call" from the British Prime Minister "Boris Johnson in which he was presented with the UK Command paper on the Ireland / Northern Ireland protocol".
Von der Leyen reiterated the position announced yesterday by Vice-President Maros Sefcovic stating that "the EU will continue to be creative and flexible within the framework of the protocol.
