(ANSA) - BEIJING, JULY 22 - The victims of torrential rains in the central Chinese province of Henan have risen to at least 33, with eight missing.
It is the latest bulletin provided by the state network CCTV, based on the updates provided by local authorities, against the latest toll made up of 25 dead and seven missing.
The evacuees are also on the rise, rising to 376,000, while more than 200,000 hectares of crops have been swallowed by the waters for damage estimated at 1.22 billion yuan, about 160 million euros.
