13,500 new cases and another 267 deaths

from coronavirus in Argentina.

In this way, the country reached 4,812,351 infected and 103,074 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic, according to the report of the Ministry of Health.

Argentina is

eighth

among the nations with the highest number of covid cases, behind the United States, India, Brazil, France, Russia, the United Kingdom and Turkey, according to Johns Hopkins University.

It is also the

11th country that exceeded 100,000 deaths 

(except for Turkey, so did those already mentioned, in addition to Colombia and Peru).

The Ministry of Health of the Nation published its new report while waiting for the arrival of the last of the 10 flights of Aerolineas Argentinas with shipment of Sinopharm vaccines, from China.

The authorities estimate that it will land at 6:20 p.m. at Ezeiza airport.

In addition, a batch of 320,000 doses is pending that will arrive in the country on a plane from Qatar.

On the other hand, as Minister Carla Vizzotti anticipated on Wednesday, on Monday 500 liters of component 2 of Sputnik V will arrive. With this shipment, the Richmond laboratory (in charge of local production) will be able to produce 800 thousand doses.
