Around 800 police officers searched the homes of suspects in Saxony and Brandenburg on Thursday who are said to have been involved in serious football riots.
The action in the morning affected 56 apartments, most of them in Dresden and the surrounding area.
The aim is to secure evidence, in particular crime clothes, cell phones and pyrotechnics, said the police.
The investigators of the "Soko Hauptallee" would be supported in the searches by emergency services of the riot police and the federal police.
Four suspects between the ages of 20 and 31 were arrested.
They are accused of having played an active role in the riots at Dresden's Rudolf Harbig Stadium in May and of throwing bottles at police officers.
The four suspects who have already "appeared relevant" are to be brought before a judge on Thursday.
The police are investigating a total of 70 people.
The home game of third division Dynamo Dresden against Türkgücü Munich (4: 0) took place on May 16 without an audience due to the corona pandemic.
In the nearby Great Garden, however, thousands of people had gathered to celebrate Dresden's promotion to the second division.
During the game, more than 500 violent fans attacked police officers with pyrotechnics, and bottles and stones were also thrown away.
There were numerous injuries.
On Wednesday, a first suspect was sentenced to a suspended sentence of ten months.
