A victim - the driver of the crashed minibus, whose personal details have not yet been disclosed - and 28 injured people registered in the emergency room of the Capri hospital are the toll of the accident that took place this morning. For the most part these are people who were lightly injured, who were not in the vehicle but were hit by debris caused by the fall. Those in the most serious condition are the passengers of the minibus. Two of the injured, including a boy, have already been transferred by helicopter to Naples, respectively to the hospital of the Sea and to the pediatric Santobono. Two other injured are currently being assisted in the operating room awaiting transfer, others are receiving treatment and are undergoing hemodynamic stabilization and respiratory assistance, always awaiting transfer.Of the people involved in the incident, four are of foreign nationality, French and Lebanese.
The minibus would have crashed for 5-6 meters.
The bus that crashed in Capri fell from a height of a few meters, breaking the protective barrier of the road: it happened in the area of the free beach of Marina Grande.

The minibus, from the Atc company, was engaged in public transport on the island and it seems that it had about ten passengers on board.
The minibus got stuck between the cliff and a metal structure, on a stretch of free beach, near the commercial port, not far from a bathing establishment.
Much fear but no injuries among those who were on the beach, some of whom say they intervened to comfort the wounded waiting for the ambulances.
